About the Journal

The Revista Argentina de Musicología (RAM) is the official journal of the Asociación Argentina de Musicología. This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available and at no cost to the user or their institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without seeking prior authorization from the editor or author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access. The RAM began publication in 1996 in print and, in 2017, moved to the online platform using OJS to offer open and free access to all its content. It was mostly published annually, and since 2020, it has been published semi-annually (January-June and July-December). Since 2012, the RAM includes a thematic dossier whose participants are invited by the designated editor or coordinator. The RAM integrates the AAM Publications Portal.
