Open access policies
The Revista Argentina de Musicología (RAM) is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
RAM provides open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research contributes to a greater global exchange of knowledge. The RAM supports its editorial operations through contributions from the Asociacion Argentina de Musicologia, Asociacion Civil. The RAM does not charge authors or their institutions any fees for submitting manuscripts, nor for editorial processing or peer review, nor does it charge any fees for the publication of its articles. Furthermore, RAM does not pay authors or reviewers any monetary compensation for their contributions.
RAM is free of charge from the moment each issue is published, and its content is distributed under the Creative Commons Atribución/Reconocimiento-NoComercial 4.0 Internacional (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, which allows for free availability on the public Internet, enabling any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or use the content for any legal purpose, without any financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inherent in accessing the Internet itself.
