Definition. This section includes articles on different topics. The free articles present an original investigation that develops and evaluates the criteria of the disciplinary musicological line from which the articles were constructed. It is a text subjected to peer review (of double-blind type). RAM is interested in articles that produce new knowledge and are written in an accessible way for an informed public. Items must be sent in Spanish. The length should vary between 8,000 and 10,000 words, with flexibility for particular cases in the second revision. It must contain a title (in Spanish and English), a summary/abstract between 150 to 200 words, in Spanish and English and 5 to 7 key words in Spanish and English (please avoid terms present in the title). You must also indicate a minimum of 15 bibliographic references. Footnotes will be used to indicate bibliographical references in the body of the text. The citation system will follow that indicated in The Chicago Manual of Style.

Definition . This section is coordinated by a person invited by the Editorial Team, a specialist in the thematic plan proposed for each issue. The coordinating person will be in charge of convening or selecting the received articles, in addition to writing an introductory text to the section. The articles in this section adjust to the magazine's guidelines for free articles and undergo a peer review process in double-blind mode. The title, summary, keywords and bibliographic references must be included as indicated in the Free Articles section.

Definition. This section is dedicated to the publication of bibliographical reviews or sound/audiovisual productions – published in any region and language – of interest to any of the branches of musicological studies (historical, ethnographic, popular music, organology, iconography, aesthetics, analysis and music theory). Unless the person the author desires, the reviews do not include the title. The reviews must be written in writing. You must indicate the complete data of the reviewed publication: author, title, place, editorial, year, page length, type of support, ISBN or ISSN (as appropriate) and you must include an image of the publication's portal. The length of the text will vary between 1,000 and 3,000 words. The text must not contain notes at the bottom or at the end. All bibliographic references must be included in the body of the text.
