Author Biography

Phd. Fátima Graciela Musri - Editor-in-chief, National University of San Juan

She is Doctor in Arts (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba), a Master in Latin American Art (Universidad Nacional de Cuyo) and in History (Universidad Nacional de San Juan). She was Professor of Music History and Contemporary Arts at the Faculty of Philosophy, Humanities and Arts of the National University of San Juan and is currently Director of its Institute of Musical Studies. Her research interests include local, regional and Latin American history of music, migrations of musicians and musical genres. She is a lecturer and teacher in Master's and Doctorate courses in Argentinean universities. He has published books and articles in specialized journals. She was Vice-President of the Asociación Argentina de Musicología, editor of its Boletín and is currently editor-in-chief of the Revista Argentina de Musicología. She is a member of the International Musicological Society (IMS) and its Regional Association for Latin America and the Caribbean (ARLAC/IMS), being founder of its Working Group "Music and Periodicals". As a musicologist, she was awarded the Konex Prize for being one of the five outstanding figures in the discipline between 2010 and 2019 in Argentina.
